2023-24 Equality in Domestic Violence Prevention and Services (EX) Program RFP

This grant is for California organizations providing domestic violence prevention and services to LGBTIQA+ communities. Nonprofits, government agencies, and community-based organizations are eligible. The program funds culturally appropriate education, prevention, outreach, and direct services that expand access for underserved LGBTIQA+ populations. Activities must address gaps in existing domestic violence services.
Applicants must operate in California or serve California residents. Organizations must demonstrate capacity to serve LGBTIQA+ individuals with cultural competency. Prior experience in domestic violence work and community engagement is expected.

Program description
The purpose of the Program is to provide culturally appropriate domestic violence education, prevention, outreach, and services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, and asexual (LGBTIQA+) community that will improve access to this unserved/underserved community.
