FOR ALL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS APPLYING FOR AVAILABLE FUNDING Before a non-profit agency is eligible to apply for available social services funding within this system, it must first demonstrate meeting and adhering to minimal, non-profit organizational standards and practices. This minimum threshold checklist is used to ensure City-managed funds, once awarded, are spent wisely, and that such non-profit entities provide adequate governance, in accordance with its by-laws, implemented policies, practices, and procedures ensuring accountability/safeguards for those serving and being served. Each applicant for available social services related funding must therefore maintain a valid, approved minimum threshold application on file with APH.
