💡 Tips for applicants
- Build a strong multidisciplinary coalition before applying. Include healthcare providers, patient advocates, and academic partners to show breadth and capacity.
- Ground your project in evidence-based guidelines. Clearly explain how you will review, disseminate, or implement specific women's health recommendations.
- Demonstrate sustainability beyond grant funding. Show how your work will create lasting change in clinical adoption of preventive services.
- Use data and evidence throughout. Show baseline gaps in preventive care access for women and how your project addresses them.
- Focus on healthcare system reach. Projects with potential to influence practice patterns across multiple providers or regions are more competitive.
⚠️ Common mistakes
Proposing standalone educational efforts without connection to systemic adoption in clinical practice. Not demonstrating multidisciplinary coalition engagement or capacity for complex partnership work. Lacking concrete evidence that proposed guidelines updates or recommendations are grounded in current research.
