💡 Tips for applicants
- Emphasize your organization's track record developing and delivering healthcare training. Describe specific clinician audiences you've successfully trained.
- Build partnerships with clinical sites, healthcare systems, or disease intervention programs to strengthen feasibility.
- Use current STI epidemiology data and clinical evidence to justify your training approach and identify provider gaps.
- Clearly describe how your training will reduce STI morbidity at individual, local, and national levels.
- Address sustainability and dissemination plans showing how training resources will reach providers beyond your direct participants.
⚠️ Common mistakes
Focusing on patient education instead of clinician and provider training. Not demonstrating partnerships with clinical sites or healthcare systems. Vague plans for measuring impact on provider knowledge, skills, or STI patient outcomes.
