Program description

Programs providing funding pursuant to this Super NOFA include the following:• Multifamily Housing Program (MHP) which provides loans to assist the new construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of permanent and transitional rental housing for lower income households;• Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention (VHHP) Program which provides funds for acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable multifamily housing for veterans and their families to allow veterans to access and maintain housing stability;• Joe Serna, Jr. Farmworker Housing Grant (FWHG) Program which provides construction loans or deferred loans for multifamily housing, new construction, or rehabilitation to serve agricultural workers with a priority for lower income households; • Infill Incentive Grant Program (IIG) which provides grant assistance available as gap funding for infrastructure improvements necessary for specific residential or mixed-use infill development projects. Under IIG, eligible infrastructure improvements are referred to as Capital Improvement Projects (CIPs). They are associated with specific residential or mixed-use infill development projects, or Qualified Infill Projects.
