Program Objective
The focus of this program is to support the hauling of material removed to reduce hazardous fuels to locations where that material can be utilized for other purposes.

How to Apply
Award Procedure
Grants will be awarded within 60 days of selection. Grantees will be notified for any clarification or additional information necessary to process their award. Grants may be awarded from the Washington Office or Regional Offices.
Decision Timeline
- Approval: From 90 to 120 days
- Renewal interval: From 30 to 60 days

Description
This funding will support the transportation of biomass and other wood products removed during hazardous fuels treatment to locations where it can be used. This may include trucking, rail or other intermodal transportation costs associated with shipping these materials.

Restrictions
Construction, Capitol Equipment Acquisition, and Small Business Ownership are prohibited use of funds under this program.
Matching Requirements
Federal to non-federal funding must be matched at fifty (50) percent of the federal amount.
