Program Objective
The purpose of this program is to coordinate the acceleration of biomedical and health breakthroughs to deliver transformative, sustainable, and equitable health solutions for everyone by – (A) facilitating collaboration between Advance Research Projects Agency for Health and other Federal agencies, relevant industries, academia, and other persons, with respect to advance high-potential, high impact biomedical and health research that cannot be readily accomplished through traditional research and commercial activity; (B) identifying and promoting revolutionary advanced in health sciences; (C) promoting high reward innovation to develop high need cures (D) ensuring that the United States maintains, global leadership and science and innovation and the highest quality of life and health for its citizens.

All types of entities are eligible, including highly qualified foreign nationals outside of the United States either alone or in collaboration with American participants when such transactions may benefit the American people. Applicants should review the Innovative Solutions Openings issued under this ARPA-H program.
Nondomestic recipients are encouraged to collaborate with a domestic entity.
Awards shall not be made to nondomestic entities organized under the laws of a covered foreign country.

Discretionary awards are subject to objective review. Reviewers will individually evaluate based upon the review criteria specified in the Innovative Solutions Opening.

Description
ARPA-H shall achieve goals stated above by supporting:
Discovery, identification, and promotion of revolutionary advancements in science;
Translation of scientific discoveries into transformative health technologies with potential application for biomedical science and medicine;
Creation of platform capabilities that draw on multiple disciplines;
Delivery of proofs of concept that demonstrate meaningful advances with potential clinical application;
Development of new capabilities and methods to identify potential targets and technological strategies for early disease detection and intervention, such as advanced computational tools and predictive models; and
Acceleration of transformational health technological advances in areas with limited technical certainty.

Awards are planned to assist in ARPA-H's goal of bringing transformational health solutions to all Americans. 100% of funds are for discretionary activities.
