Program Objective
The objective of this program is to provide reasonable and appropriate law enforcement patrols in the near vicinity of the Pantex Plant, including tactical response, visitor checks, traffic control, issuance of trespassing notifications, response to protests and threats to the Pantex Plant, as well as enhanced surveillance related to the safety and security of the general public.

Award Procedure
Prior to award, the agreement is reviewed and approved by the Grant Officer and assistance is distributed through the FAST (Financial Accounting Support Tool).

- Renewal interval: > 180 Days
- Appeal: From 60 to 90 days

Description
The purpose of this agreement is so the Pantex Plant can be provided law enforcement support by the County of Carson Sheriff’s Office. The Pantex Plant resides in Carson County and the site boundary falls under the Sheriff’s Office’s jurisdiction. The County of Carson Sheriff’s Office is the closest local agency able to provide this level of support.
