This grant is for creating, expanding, or improving regional parks and park facilities in California. Eligible applicants include local agencies, regional agencies, and nonprofit organizations that serve public recreation purposes. Projects must benefit a multi-county region and align with state park planning guidelines.
Cost-sharing is not required. All project activities must occur within California and provide public access to park facilities and recreation opportunities.

Program description
The Regional Park Program will create, expand, or improve regional parks and regional park facilities. This program is funded by Proposition 68 (2018 Bond Act) which is found in Public Resources Code §80065(a). See www.parks.ca.gov/rpp including the “Application Guide” for more information.
