  • Preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergent health events.

💡 Tips for applicants

  • Clearly describe your organization's experience supporting health centers in your target state or region. Provide concrete examples of past TA delivery.
  • Align your proposed activities with HRSA priorities: workforce recruitment, chronic disease management, value-based care, and emergency preparedness are key focus areas.
  • Show strong partnerships with existing health centers and other HRSA-funded technical assistance programs. Collaboration is essential.
  • Use data to demonstrate the health care needs of your region's vulnerable populations and how your TA directly addresses them.
  • Include realistic staffing plans and organizational infrastructure details. Reviewers want to see you can execute across multiple health centers.

⚠️ Common mistakes

Weak organizational capacity narrative. Reviewers reject applications when PCAs don't clearly demonstrate past experience providing TA to multiple health centers or strong regional presence. Vague partnership descriptions. Stating you "will partner with" organizations without specific MOUs or letters of support weakens proposals significantly. Misaligned activities. Proposing TA that doesn't directly support health center operations or serve medically underserved populations gets scored down.
