Program description
The Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY) is releasing the following Community and Faith-Based Facilitation for Foster Care Recruitment Grant Application (Application) as a pilot program to develop new models for facilitating foster care in the State of Ohio. This Application is open to Community and Faith-Based organizations in Ohio. Selection for Funding: A. Applicant must be a current not-for-profit 501(c) organization and shall submit a copy of the tax status determination letter from the IRS and filed with the Ohio Secretary of State. B. Applicant must complete, sign, and submit the Standard Affirmation and Disclosure Form, in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 2022-02D. C. Applicant must complete all sections of the Application, without any changes to the terms and conditions. Any application that does not include all required sections may be deemed incomplete. This Grant opportunity will be open for a maximum of 32 days, but DCY will begin awarding Grantees on a rolling basis as applications are submitted. Funding for this Grant opportunity will be on a first-come, first-serve basis until funding is exhausted. Applications are to be submitted to Procurement_Inquiries@childrenandyouth.ohio.gov before June 15, 2026, 1:00 PM. Late responses will not be considered.
