This grant is for California public schools operating after-school education and safety (ASES) programs in frontier areas. Schools must be located in areas with population density below 11 persons per square mile, or in designated Frontier Areas per Education Code Section 8484.65. The ASES grantee must be in Good Standing Status with complete attendance reports, expenditure reports, and annual outcome-based data submitted.

Maximum award is $15,000 per schoolsite per school year. All required compliance documents must be current and complete to be eligible.
