This grant is for nonprofit agricultural trade organizations, SRTGs, U.S. agricultural cooperatives, and state agencies seeking to expand exports of U.S. agricultural commodities (excluding tobacco).
Applicants must be U.S.-based entities. All eligible commodity types are supported except tobacco. The program funds shared marketing and promotion activities on a competitive basis.
All applicants must have active SAM.gov registration before the deadline. Inactive, expired, pending, or excluded SAM listings result in automatic ineligibility. No exceptions or waivers are granted for registration issues.

Program description
Under MAP, USDA/FAS enters into agreements with Participants to share the cost of certain marketing and promotion activities to expand exports of U.S. agricultural commodities. Financial assistance under the MAP is made available on a competitive basis, and USDA/FAS endeavors to enter into agreements with eligible Participants to cover as broad an array of agricultural commodities as possible. All U.S. agricultural commodities, except tobacco, are eligible for consideration.
