This grant is for law enforcement specialized units in California. Only city or county law enforcement departments within California can apply, as defined in California Penal Code § 830.1. Applicants must score at least 50% of available points to be eligible for funding. A minimum qualifying score does not guarantee an award.

To be eligible to receive funds: The Applicant must be a city or county law enforcement department within the State of California, as defined in California Penal Code § 830.1. Receive a minimum of 50% of available points to be eligible for funding; however, a minimum score does not guarantee funding.
