Program Objective
The program prioritizes awards for projects that would improve fish passage for (A) anadromous fish stocks listed as an endangered species or a threatened species under Section 4 of the Endangered Species Act of 1973.
This Assistance Listing 20.276 created in August 2025 was included in the previous ALN 20.205, please refer to former ALN 20.205 for FY24 and FY25 financial obligations. The new Assistance Listing 20.276 will be utilized by DOT at the start of FY 2026.

This Assistance Listing is for the National Culvert Removal, Replacement, and Restoration Grant Program (Culvert AOP Program). An annual competitive grant program that awards grants to eligible entities for projects for the replacement, removal, and repair of culverts or weirs that meaningfully improve or restore fish passage for anadromous fish.
