Description
The Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) funds programs to help curb illegal immigration to the United States. The Bureau’s funding supports migrants to voluntarily return to their country of origin or legal status, either from the United States or from third countries. PRM’s assistance helps foreign governments manage migration while upholding national sovereignty and security through funding to third parties, such as international organizations, and through government-to-government funding actions that recognize support for U.S. immigration policy objectives.
