Program Objective

To coordinate State victim services activities and collaborate and coordinate with Federal, State, and local entities engaged in violence against women activities.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants

  • Private nonprofits

Each State domestic violence coalition as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services under the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act and each State sexual assault coalition as determined by the Center for Injury Prevention and Control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under the Public Health Service Act.

How to Apply

Application Procedure

Applicants must apply through the on-line Grants.gov portal and the Department of Justice's JustGrants System.

Award Procedure

Upon approval by the Office on Violence Against Women, online notification is sent to the applicant agency. The Authorized Representative must accept the award online.

Applicants will be notified by the end of the fiscal year.

Allowed Uses

To coordinate State victim services activities and collaborate and coordinate with Federal, State, and local entities engaged in violence against women activities. Sexual assault and dual domestic violence and sexual assault coalitions are eligible for additional funds for additional, sexual assault specific, purposes.
