Funded Projects

Examples of what this program has supported.

FY2025 Cooperators held multiple outreach events with approximately 400 participants between both cooperative agreements in multiple states. Cooperators help landowners and land seekers through referral-based services, connecting them to legal and financial assistance that will support the successful transition of farmland.

Program Objective

The objective of this program is to provide education on the CRP-TIP program and connect landowners with expiring CRP acres with Beginning Farmers and Ranchers and Historically Underserved Producers. Technical assistance may be provided. Another objective of this program is to study and report on the reasons producers participate in the program or chose not to participate, and provide suggestions for improvement.
