Local Airport Loan Program
Can you apply?
This grant is for California Medical Examiner/Coroner's offices and law enforcement divisions supporting toxicology DUI/DUID investigations. Only entities in California managing cases where deaths occur during or as a result of motor vehicle incidents are eligible. The grant funds data collection, equipment, personnel, and consulting services to advance impaired driving investigations and research. Applications must be submitted through California's online Grant Management System.
Program description
Types of projects funded by these loans include hangars, General Aviation (GA) terminals, utilities, GA fueling facilities, Caltrans Acquisition and Development eligible projects, or local share for a federal Airport Improvement Program grant. The maximum term of a loan is 17 years. The Department approves the amount of the loan in accordance with the project’s feasibility and the sponsor’s financial situation.
