This grant is for California school districts, county offices of education (COEs), and charter schools. LEAs selected will receive $100,000 per year for two years to participate in the pilot program. The grant funds contracting with Technical Assistance Teams to expand school health and mental health services. Support includes guidance on Medi-Cal billing, special education mental health programs, school finance, and data analysis.
Applicants must be an LEA as defined: school district, COE, or charter school. Priority is given to agencies seeking to increase capacity through federal reimbursement and other revenue sources. This pilot project operates statewide in California from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024.
Up to 25 LEAs will be selected as pilot participants. The total $5 million program pool will fund technical assistance and capacity-building support.

Program description
Funding for projects that restore or enhance wetlands and watershed ecosystems and provide co-benefits, consistent with the Natural and Working Lands Climate Smart Strategy and Pathways to 30×30. The Program will also support pilot projects for CDFW’s Beaver Program.
