This grant is for faith-based and nonprofit organizations operating in Ohio. Organizations must be registered or recognized by the State of Ohio. The grant supports community initiatives and programs that positively impact Ohio residents across various service areas and geographic regions within the state.
Eligible activities typically include community development, social services, educational programs, and faith-based initiatives that serve Ohioans. Both large and small organizations could apply, though priority often goes to established nonprofits with demonstrated community impact.
Geographic scope is limited to Ohio and organizations serving Ohio communities.

Application for the Office of Faith-Based & Community Initiatives Governor’s Grants launched on April 1, 2022. We recognize that faith-based and non-profit organizations are invaluable partners to the State as we seek to positively impact the lives of all Ohioans.
