💡 Tips for applicants
- Check which PSA/AAA you represent—your award amount is pre-set based on your service area designation.
- Focus your narrative on how your agency will efficiently use funds to administer farmers market outreach.
- Emphasize your track record serving low-income seniors and current participation rates.
- Include details on staff capacity, farmers market partnerships, and redemption support.
- Document your ability to issue all benefits and manage program operations within your allocation.
⚠️ Common mistakes
Not recognizing this is allocated funding—your agency's award amount is already determined by PSA/AAA. Proposing to expand beyond your service area or requesting more than your allocation. Unclear cost allocation between administration and benefit distribution.
