This grant is for abatement, removal, storage, and disposal of abandoned recreational vessels in California. It supports public agencies, local governments, and potentially nonprofit organizations addressing vessel nuisance issues. Eligible activities include destruction of surrendered vessels and removal of abandoned vessels that threaten navigation.
The program funds only California applicants within the state's jurisdiction. Projects must address public nuisance concerns or navigation safety related to recreational vessels. Cost sharing is required as part of the application.

Program description
This program provides funding for abatement, removal, storage and disposal as a public nuisance of abandoned recreational vessels and/or the destruction of surrendered recreational vessels that may become a threat to navigation.
