This grant is for organizations offering on-the-water boating safety education courses. Program description
The funds appropriated in this item shall be available for state operations or local assistance, and shall be used to establish the Rehabilitative Investment Grants for Healing and Transformation (RIGHT) Grant to enhance the capacity of community based, nonprofit organizations to provide in-prison programming in Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation prisons. This funding shall be allocated by the department to each applicant that meets the following requirements: (1) The applicant is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or is a nonprofit organization that is fiscally sponsored by a fiscal agent with nonprofit status and (2) has a preexisting record of providing in-prison rehabilitative programming within the department during at least three of the five years preceding their application.
