💡 Tips for applicants
- Verify immediately that your organization is named in P.L. 119-75. Contact your Congressional representative's office if uncertain.
- Prepare detailed project scope and budget documentation now. Named applicants must be ready to submit quickly.
- Coordinate with HRSA early to understand application procedures and timelines specific to your project.
- Ensure project plans align with health care facility or community facility standards required by HRSA.
- Document all matching funds or in-kind contributions, even though cost-sharing is not required.
⚠️ Common mistakes
Named applicants delay submitting documentation and miss HRSA processing deadlines. Organizations assume they're eligible without verifying their Congressional designation. Applicants submit vague project scope documents without sufficient construction detail and cost breakdown.
