Funded Projects

Examples of what this program has supported.

FY2025 A recently acquired park and trail area is being transformed into a safe, welcoming, and ecologically rich public space. Old, unsafe structures are being removed to eliminate hazards and restore the land to its natural state. This includes clearing debris, sealing wells, removing outdated utilities, and reshaping the land for future use. Once cleared, the land is being revitalized with native trees, grasses, and prairie plants. New trails and access points are being developed to invite the public to explore and enjoy the outdoors.
