Program Objective

FBA provides a one-time bridge payment to eligible producers that planted eligible commodities in 2025 in response to temporary market disruptions and increased production costs.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants

  • Land/Property Owner
  • Nonprofit Organization
  • For-Profit Organization
  • Small Business Person

The applicant must have produced an eligible commodity in 2025, reported eligible commodities to FSA by the earlier of deadlines established in 7CFR Part 718 or December 19, 2025, be actively engaged in farming, and meet average adjusted gross income limits.

The assistance will be approved and awarded by FSA to eligible applicants.

Description

Commodity producers are experiencing temporary trade market disruptions and increased production costs for 2025 commodities. This one- time bridge payment will help producers until provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) are implemented.
