Use of Funds
Allowed Uses
These cooperative agreements have the primary goal of connecting producers interested in program participation to targeted assistance. FSA is seeking cooperators who can quickly and effectively implement an effort to provide ongoing outreach, education, and technical assistance on FSA disaster assistance programs specific to the needs of their targeted groups.
Applicants must focus on one or more of FSA’s disaster assistance programs, which are listed online: https://www.fsa.usda.gov/programs-and-services/disaster-assistance-program/index to qualify for funding. Applicants may choose to additionally perform outreach and technical assistance activities on other FSA programs, farm records, and administrative activities. These program activities must support producers in working with FSA to manage their risk and build a more robust operation to make their farm businesses more resilient to weather and economic-related disasters.
