Description
The Supplemental Nutrition Education (SNAP-Ed) Toolkit, a searchable on-line database, is an important resource that allows SNAP-Ed providers and educators to easily locate evidence-based programming and associated evaluation tools. It includes four main components: Interventions, Evaluation Framework, Literature Reviews, and Training; that guide and support the implementation, evaluation, and reporting on evidence-based nutrition education programs. The Interventions component allows users access to a searchable database of over 150 evidence-based interventions which are appropriate for low-income audiences. These interventions also link to associated behavioral outcome indicators from the Evaluation Framework component.
