Applicants must be organizations in California capable of outreaching to businesses with 1–500+ employees. The grant provides payments to small businesses to offset training costs when employees take paid family leave. Eligible small businesses are those with 51-100 employees (receiving $1,000 per PFL-using employee) or ≤50 employees (receiving $2,000 per PFL-using employee).

Program description
