Funded Projects

Examples of what this program has supported.

FY2024 1) Innovative Research: Projects supported research projects that developed new technologies for conserving historical buildings and artifacts. For instance, advanced imaging techniques like LIDAR and ground-penetrating radar were used to assess and monitor the condition of archaeological sites, providing valuable data for preservation efforts. 2) Educational Resources Development: Funding was used to create a series of instructional videos and training materials on preservation techniques. These resources are accessible to everyone, from professionals to the general public, helping to enhance knowledge and skills in preserving cultural heritage. 3) Community Engagement: Funds were allocated to organize public workshops and events that raised awareness about the importance of cultural heritage preservation. These events engaged the community, fostered collaboration, and shared best practices in preservation.
