Program details & compliance
Description
The program develops new talent for the Department of State’s Foreign and Civil Service, through programs of educational support and professional development. Program participants are provided with enhanced knowledge and skills to pursue such careers. The program encourages applications from members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign and Civil Service, women, and those with financial need. Funding is used to support program administration and activities, including internship stipends, transportation, and temporary housing expenses, as well as delivering professional development activities to program participants.
